Sprinter Dina Asher-Smith has admitted she is gutted to be missing out on this weekend's Birmingham Indoor Grand Prix after breaking her foot.

The 21-year-old was due to be in sprint action on Saturday but, in her final training session before the event, suffered the blow to keep her off the track for the foreseeable future.
Asher-Smith became an Olympic medallist when helping Great Britain to 4x100 women's team relay bronze at Rio 2016 – form she was hoping to carry on into this summer's World Championships in London.
But while a return to the Olympic Stadium is still very much a possibility, preparations will surely be knocked for the sprinter, pulling out just a day after Katarina Johnson-Thompson also had to withdraw from Birmingham due to injury herself.
"What are the odds!" Asher-Smith tweeted.
"Last session before the Grand Prix, last reactive jump, and I land awkwardly on my foot and fracture it.
"So upset and frustrated but it was a freak accident, one of those unavoidable things in life I guess. Comeback starts now."
