Bologna sign Digbeu

Euroleague strugglers Climamio Bologna have signed small forward Alain Digbeu until the end of the season from Spanish side Etosa Alicante.

The 31-year old Frenchman played in the ULEB Cup for Alicante last season, and averaged 6.6 points in 12 games.

The former Barcelona, Real Madrid, and DKV Joventut player will try to revive Bologna's flagging fortunes, with the Italian side currently holding a 1-6 record in the Euroleague and a 5-6 record in Serie A.

Digbeu does have some experience of playing in Italy in the past, as he played Varese during the 2004/2005 season.
