Burrell added three assists and three steals for a Week Four leading player index of 36 in his side's 90-86 victory over winless Climamio at Bologna on Thursday.
"It was exciting for us to get the win because we are the underdog in our group," Burrell said on Friday. "We didn't go to Bologna with a sense of desperation, but we did have a nothing-to-lose attitude."
"We just felt we had to play that way to get a win. It has definitely taken some of us a little adjusting to get going in the Euroleague."
Mirsad Turkcan earned the second best rating of the week at 34, scoring 22 points and hauling in 10 rebounds in Fenerbahce Ulker's first win of the Euroleague season.
In bad news for Fenerbahce, Turkcan and Efes Pilsen's Marcus Haislip were each suspended nine games and fined 10,000 New Turkish Liras by the Turkish Basketball Federation for fighting during a regular season league game last week.
In other team news, Benetton Treviso signed Bryant Smith from Legea Scafati on a temporary contract to replace injured Richie Frahm.
