The upcoming season will mark Ginobili's 14th campaign with the Spurs.
In his NBA career, he has appeared in 865 games, averaging 14.3 points, 4.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.39 steals in 26.7 minutes. He has shot .450 (4,015-8,925) percent from the field, .368 (1,272-3,457) from three-point range and .827 (3,093-3,739) from the charity stripe.
Ginobili, who was drafted by San Antonio with the 57th overall pick in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft, is the Spurs all-time NBA leader in three-pointers made (1,272).
The Argentina native is one of only eight players in NBA postseason history (Kobe Bryant, Scottie Pippen, Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, Larry Bird, LeBron James, Clyde Drexler) with at least 2,500 points (2,836), 750 rebounds (793), 700 assists (747) and 250 steals (261) in the playoffs.
Ginobili has been a member of the Argentinian National Team since 1998. He led his home country to the Gold Medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, becoming one of only two players to have won a Euroleague title, an NBA championship and an Olympic gold medal (Bill Bradley).

Point guard Ty Lawson, who just started a 30-day rehab stint, has been traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Houston Rockets.
The Rockets sent forward Kostas Papanikolaou, guard Pablo Prigioni, center Joey Dorsey, guard Nick Johnson and a protected 2016 first-round pick to the Nuggets. Denver sent Houston a 2017 second-round draft pick. The Nuggets waived Prigioni to avoid guaranteeing his $1.6 million salary for the upcoming season. Prigioni will get $440,000.
Last Tuesday, Lawson was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence for the second time in six months. Lawson attended a pretrial hearing Friday in Denver after his arrest Tuesday in Los Angeles. He was arrested on the same charge in Denver in January.
Lawson won't face charges in California and Colorado until he finishes the treatment program in Malibu, Calif.
