The team said in a statement that Johnson will begin rehab immediately, but there is not yet a timeframe for his return.
In 36 games this season, including five starts, Johnson averaged 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists. He shot 48.8 percent from the field.

The Memphis Grizzlies reassigned forwards James Ennis and Jarell Martin to Iowa of the NBA Development League after recalling the players earlier in the day.
The 6-foot-7, 210-pound Ennis, 25, has averaged 1.3 points and 3.6 minutes in 10 appearances with the Grizzlies and Miami Heat this season, his second in the NBA.
The 6-10, 239-pound Martin, 21, has two points in nine minutes through two appearances during his rookie season with the Grizzlies.

The Chicago Bulls recalled forward Mike Dunleavy from Santa Cruz of the NBA Development League.
Dunleavy, a 35-year-old veteran is in his 14th season with the Bulls, has not played in a game for the Bulls this season after a low back microdiscectomy procedure on Sept. 25.
