Sofia stumble to Siena

Group C leaders Montepaschi Siena put a wrench in Lukoil Academic's hopes of qualifying, beating Sofia 81-75 in the Bulgarian capital. The win guarantees that the Serie A club will qualify top of the group.

Rimantas Kaukenas led all scorers with 17 points while Romain Sato added a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds for the victors.
Siena, who had already secured a place in the elimination round, improved to 7-2 to clinch the top prize in Group C.
Sofia, meanwhile, dropped to 4-5 and now go into their final game at Russian league runners-up Khimki without having qualified.

Telindus Oostende kept their hopes for a spot in the elimination rounds alive with a 82-66 win over Hapoel Migdal Jerusalem.
Rashad Wright and Elvir Ovcina helped the hosts race 12-0 ahead in the first quarter and they increased the lead to 17 in the second before Jerusalem closed the gap to 11 at half time.
Ovcina and Wright however took them to a double figure lead in the third which stayed to the end.
Alba Berlin beat visiting Khimky in overtime 90-83, the Germans moving to 4-5 while Khimki fell to the same.
Khimky centre Ruben Wolowysky missed one of two free throws with two seconds left in regulation time, denying his team a comeback victory from 15 points down. Free throws early in overtime let Alba move ahead before Chris Owens and Will Avery finished the win with 20 points each to lead the winners. Khimky got 16 points from Kelly McCarty and 15 apiece from Ademola Okulaja and Melvin Booker.
Group A
KK Hemofarm overcame big absences including the suspension of captain Milenko Topic for failing to report to training by beating visiting Brose Baskets 76-64 at home in Vrsac.
Hemofarm improved to 6-3 to equal Nancy for second spot in the standings.
Milos Borisov led the winners with 22 points while Darren Fenn had 18 points for Brose Baskets and Steffen Hamann 17.
Sluc Nancy remained in the hunt for second place in Group A with a 85-76 win over AEK in Athens.
AEK are now out after falling to 2-7.
The game was close until halfway through the fourth quarter, but AEK struggled to make their free throws down the stretch and Cyril Julian led Nancy to the win. Julian finished with 22 points and 9 rebounds, while Nestoras Kommatos led AEK with 19
Gran Canaria beat Lietuvos Rytas 72-67 with Jackson Vroman top scoring with 15. Kareem Lamar Rush lead the visitors with 20 but an otherwise poor team effort saw them slump to a 6-3 record that will nonetheless see them qualify.
Gran Canaria lie fourth in the group on 5-4.
Group B
Anwil Wloclawek won their last home game of the season against Besiktas ColaTurka 74-62 to knock the Turks out.
Strasbourg therefore qualify on 4-4 without having had to play, a good thing after their 78-71 home defeat to BC FMP. Anwil improved to 3-6 to stay in with a chance.
Andrzej Pluta led the winners with 19 points, while for for Besiktas, Jamel Thomas led the way with 26 points.
BK Ventspils edged Snaidero Udine in a thrilling 93-91 win away in Italy.
Dalron Johnson led the visitors with 19 points while team mates Eddie Shannon and Dusan Jelic helped out with 17 and 16 respectively. Kristaps Valters led with 20 for the hosts in a game that Ventspils led by only two points from the 3rd quarter.
Ventspils move to 6-3 and second spot and should qualify, with Udine in third with a 5-4 record.
Group D
Real Madrid came closer to winning Group D by beating visiting Unics Kazan 77-61.
Both teams now enter a four-way tie with PAOK and Crvena Zvezda, all with a 6-3 record, although Real hold the tie-break advantage and face Dexia Mons-Hainaut in the final game in this group. A win in that game would give them the Group, regardless of other results.
Charles Smith led the winners with 17 points. Dusko Savanovic had 14 points for Unics while Darjus Lavrinovic added 13. Tomas and Bullock led a 12-2 third quarter charge which allowed Madrid to boss the second half.
Meanwhile Crvena Zvedvda hammered Mons 96-69 thanks to dominant first and final quarters. Milan Gurovic was the star with 29 points and ten rebounds.
Eiffel Towers almost snatched an unlikey victory at PAOK with a final quarter rally in Thessaloniki, but PAOK held them off to win 90-88.
EiffelTowers dropped to 2-7 despite a great effort to rally from a 15-point first-half deficit while PAOK qualify and have a shot at winning the group.
Jason Parker paced the winners with 21 points, making 9 of his 11 two-point shots. Blagota Sekulic and Drago Pasalic each added 14 points and Sekulic grabbed 14 rebounds Leon Rodgers had 19 points for the EiffelTowers,
The last two frantic minutes saw a corner triple by Kalampokis and free throws by Sekulic, Kalampokis and Pasalic help PAOK to save the win.
