Reigning overall champion Martin Fourcade claimed a record-equalling 14th World Cup victory in Ostersund, Sweden, by winning the men's 12.5km pursuit.
The 11-time World champion, who has sealed overall World Cup glory six times in a row, moved level with the 'king of biathlon' Ole Einar Bjorndalen, who also recorded 14 wins in the Swedish city, by dominating proceedings as he claimed his first World Cup win of the 2017-18 season.
The Frenchman topped the podium with a time of 30:12.2, a full 40.8 seconds ahead of Slovenia's Jakov Fak (30:53.0).
Fourcade, 29, who was third in Thursday's 20km individual race and second in Saturday's 10km sprint, was joined on the rostrum by countryman Quentin Fillon Maillet (30:54.3).
Emil Hegle Svendsen (31:01.9) of Norway was fourth, crossing the line ahead of home skier Fredrik Lindstroem (31:02.4) and Norway's Lars Helge Birkeland (31:10.4).
PyeongChang favourite Fourcade, who claimed three medals at Sochi 2014, tops the overall men's World Cup standings with 162 points, with fellow Frenchman Fillon Maillett (131) closest behind.
