American duo win in Igls

Despite coming in third after their first run, the American duo went fastest on their second outing to finish first with an aggregate time of 1min 48.50secs.

Anja Schneiderheinze-Stoeckel and Christin Senkel of Germany were second, 0.09secs behind, with Fabienne Meyer and Hanne Schenk of Switzerland another 0.11 back in third.

The result leaves Sandra Kiriasis and Stephanie Schneider of Germany top of the overall standings.

The men are scheduled to hit the track in their two-man bobs on Saturday.
