Steven Holcomb drove USA 1 to World Championship gold in the four-man Bobsleigh in Lake Placid, a week after winning gold in the two-man event.

Germany 1 driven by Maximilian Arndt took silver finishing 0.50 seconds behind USA 1 whose overall time over four runs was 3:36.83 minutes while Germany 2 driven by Manuel Machata took bronze 0.80 seconds off Holcomb.
Great Britain 1 driven by John James Jackson finished in 10th at 2.62 seconds off the pace.
On the same course at the World Championships three years ago, Holcomb had won the two-man bronze and four-man gold.
