Germany's Francesco Friedrich edged out compatriot Johannes Lochner to make it a hat-trick of two-man bobsleigh World Championship title on Sunday.
Alongside brakeman Thorsten Margis, the pairing were neck-and-neck with Lochner and Joshua Bluhm after three heats, but Friedrich's time of 51.50 in the final run was good enough to win overall by 0.17 seconds.
Having already claimed the title in 2013 and 2015, it was a third two-man bob world title for Friedrich, while Margis celebrated his second straight win in the competition.
European champions Beat Hefti and Alex Baumann of Switzerland came home in third, 0.22 off the lead, while Great Britain's Bruce Tasker and Joel Fearon finished just outside the medals a further 0.20 seconds behind.
The results continued Germany's excellent form in the competition, after Anja Schneiderheinze and brakewoman Annika Drazek won the women's event on Saturday.
