Six-time world champion Miguel Cotto will bring the curtain down on his boxing career with a world light middleweight title fight against Sadam Ali on December 2.

Six-time world champion Miguel Cotto will bring the curtain down on his boxing career with a world light middleweight title fight against Sadam Ali on December 2.
The 36-year-old Puerto Rican, who has held titles at four different weights, will defend his WBO belt for the the final time at New York's Madison Square Garden.
Cotto has 41 wins from 46 fights, with Floyd Mayweather, Manny Pacquiao and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez inflicting three of his five defeats.
The former light welterweight and welterweight world champion will be defending the WBO light middleweight title he won against Japan's Yoshihiro Kamegai in August in his last professional bout.
"I'm very excited to be back in the ring for my final fight at the Garden," Cotto said.
"I've worked really hard my entire career to be at this level. I am fully concentrated on getting together with (trainer) Freddie Roach so we can work hard and have a great victory on December 2."
American Ali has won 25 of his 26 contests but was beaten by Jessie Vargas in his only previous world title shot.
