The double Olympic champion is set to engage in her second professional fight after comfortably outpointing Virginie Carcamo on her debut in Manchester last month.
The 18-year-old Salazar has had six professional contests, winning her first five before losing on points to compatriot Mayela Perez in her last bout in February.
The choice of a Mexican opponent may be no coincidence as Adams works towards a shot at a world title, the majority of which are currently held by Mexican fighters.
Adams' bout with Salazar will also mark the first time she has fought over four three-minute rounds, rather than the two-minute period that is customary for women's bouts.
Adams said: " You just need that extra minute, you're learning all these new things in the gym and you can't try them out in two minutes.
"I have two minutes to find my rhythm, distance and take out my opponent. It's not enough time.
"I found by the end of the rounds, I needed a couple more seconds and it would be over. Now we have three minutes, I'm able to relax more, establish the jab, find the rhythm properly and really get in the swing of things."
