Hungarian Zsolt Erdei retained his WBO light-heavyweight title for the fifth time in Düsseldorf, Germany on Saturday (May 6) night with a 10th round stoppage win over Australian Paul Murdoch.

The 31 year-old, who is undefeated at 24-0-(15), dominated the fight from the start and dropped the challenger in the eighth round before the bout was finally halted after 19 seconds of the 10th round. Murdoch falls to 25-6-1-(16).

On the Universum Box promoted card Michel Trabant retained his European Union welterweight title with an eighth round stoppage over Marco Cattikas. Cattikas built up an early lead and looked good for an upset until Trabant stepped up the pace and opened up a deep cut over fellow German Cattikas's left eye. Cattikas returned to his corner where his coach Michael Timm pulled his man out due to the severity of his cut.
