A record lap from James Ellison means that he will be on pole for Brands Hatch at the Indy circuit, finishing ahead of Luke Mossey and Leon Haslam.
Ellison registered an incredible 44.728 second lap, which is the fastest ever recorded on this circuit, with Mossey (44.931) and Haslam (44.933) hot on his heels.
Mossey was ahead in the first qualifying stage with Ellison struggling to break the 44-second mark and Shane Byrne in third.
Tyco BMW’s Davide Giugliano missed the qualifying after his crash in free practice on Saturday.
In the second stage Mossey struggled to reach his earlier times, while Ellison started to step up his pace and push harder.
Haslam came close to being eliminated, but responded well in the final qualifying and will start tomorrow's race in third, behind Mossey and the leader Ellison.
