Sergey Ustiugov set a new Tour de Ski record with his fourth consecutive Tour stage victory on Wednesday, clinching top spot in the men's 15km cross-country pursuit in Oberstdorf.
Finishing in a time of 37:58.5, the Russian pipped Norway's Martin Johnsrud Sundby to the line by more than seven seconds, with Alex Harvey of Canada completing the top three.
In taking victory, Ustiugov has extended his overall Tour de Ski lead to more than 42 seconds, with Sundby in second and Harvey in third, one minute and 18 seconds behind the leader.
The Tour will now take a rest day ahead of its switch to Toblach in Italy, for stage five.
"Early in the race I did not feel so good," said Ustiugov. "I was watching for Martin to catch me.
"But when he did not come I decided to go for it. I gave everything I had today."
