With one day of round-robin action remaining Canada ensured they remain undefeated at the World Women's Curling Championships with victory over the Czech Republic in the evening session of day five in Beijing.
In the fourth end Canadian skip Rachel Homan made a double take-out, which gave her team two points and a 4-1 lead.
In the sixth end the Czechs skip Anna Kubeskova scored two points with a hit, which cut the deficit to 3-6. However, this was Czech Republic's last score, with Canada – who had secured their qualification for the knockout stages earlier in the day – going on to win 9-3.
Sweden beat South Korea 6-5 to remain in second place in the standings, with skip Anna Hasselborg sealing the victory with a single point score in the tenth end.
