Scotland women continued their strong start to the World Curling Championships with a 6-5 win over USA to move joint top of the table.
Eve Muirhead's Scotland took their tally to four wins and one defeat after Monday's evening session – with Japan, Russia, Switzerland and hosts Canada also with the same record.
Scotland had fallen behind early on after gifting their opponents two points but Muirhead hit for two points to level before her team eventually triumphed 6-5.
Elsewhere there was a 9-4 victory for Canada over Sweden although it took until the closing stages for the match to be decided.
After the sixth end Canada's lead was reduced to a single point but Chelsea Carey played a triple take-out to score two points in the ninth before another two in the end handed them the win.
Switzerland were slightly more comfortable with a 9-2 win over Switzerland while Korea beat Denmark 9-3.
