Laura Kenny insisted performing in front of a home crowd made her return to the track a whole lot easier as she placed second in the Omnium at the Revolution Cycling Champions League final in London.

The four-time Olympic gold medallist finished just behind Podium Ambition rider Neah Evans, who secured overall victory for her team at the capital's Lee Valley VeloPark.
It was the first time Kenny had raced competitively since this summer's Olympic Games in Rio, having taken time out from the sport to marry fellow Great Britain teammate Jason Kenny.
Trott said: I've really enjoyed it, I've had a really good time but it was very difficult.
"It was my fifth and sixth time on the track since the Games so I really haven't done very much but it was fun, and I love racing in front of a home crowd.
"It's great just to be back - I love the Revolution, the crowd is always fantastic, for me this is where it all started so it's great to be back in front of this home crowd and this atmosphere."
JLT Condor won the overall men's competition as they prevailed in a close battle with Team PedalSure on Saturday evening.
Three-time Olympic champion Ed Clancy and Jon Mould led the championship standings heading into the final this weekend, but let the lead slip after the first race of the day on Saturday to allow Team PedalSure overtake by just a single point.
But they regained their lead to win the title, and Clancy admitted they had stuck to their guns to land the top prize.
"We lost a bit of our lead at the start of the weekend to be fair, but we held on; It was cagey, it was tactical, we weren't being flamboyant or aggressive we just had to do the appropriate things," he said.
"We knew if we could do that we could win it, so we played it safe and got the job done."
