Team Sky have released their kit for the 2018 season with the new jerseys taking on a white theme that was present for the Tour de France.
Sky went away from their traditional black kit for the Tour de France and team principal Sir Dave Brailsford stressed that the feedback received from riders and fans influenced their decision to move to white on a permanent basis.
Introducing the new kit for 2018, Brailsford said: “We initially changed to white jerseys for the Tour de France last summer, and it was the feedback from riders and the response from our fans that inspired us to go white for the 2018 season.
“Our ambition is for our riders to have the leading performance clothing in the peloton, and we believe that the 2018 kit is our best yet.”
It was a fantastic 2017 for Team Sky, notably taking home the Team Classifications at the Tour de France and the Vuelta a Espana as Chris Froome achieved a historic double.
The "data-pattern" remains and records all of Team Sky's victories including the successes in 2017.
Those 2017 victories are represented in the blue band at the front of the jersey.
