Ahlmann is still followed by France’s Simon Delestre in second although the points gap between the two has marginally increased since last month’s ranking.
The USA duo of McLain Ward and Kent Farrington have switched positions with the two now in third and fourth position respectively.
Germany’s Daniel Deusser and Canada’s Eric Lamaze also make a swap, and are in fifth and sixth, ahead of Germany’s Marcus Ehning who moves up two places to seventh.
France’s Kevin Staut remains in eighth position and whilst compatriot Penelope Leprevost drops down two places to ninth place, ahead of Great Britain’s Scott Brash who holds onto tenth place.
There is little change just outside of the top 10 with positions 11 to 15 – occupied by Switzerland’s Steve Guerdat, France’s Roger Yves-Bost, The Netherlands Harrie Smolders, Sweden’s Rolf-Goran Bengtsson and Australia’s Edwina Tops-Alexander, all staying exactly the same as last month.
Below them, a number of riders have enjoyed movement of five places. The Belgium pair of Nicola Philippaerts and Niels Bruynseels go up from 30 to 25 and 35 to 30 respectively, either side of USA’s Lauren Hough jumping from 34 to 29.
Ireland’s Darragh Kenny and Switzerland’s Pius Schwizer both also go up five places; Kenny from 42 to 37 and Schwizer from 50 to 45.
USA’s Jessica Springsteen enjoys the biggest move inside the top 50 by going up 20 places from 67 to 47, whilst New Zealand’s Sharn Wordley makes the top 50 by going up seven places from 57 to 50.
Ireland’s Shane Sweetnam is poised to break into the top 50 having gone up 8 places from 59 to 51, along with Germany’s David Will who moves up 10 places from 63 to 53 and Belgium’s Pieter Devos now at 55 from last month’s 69.
Brazil’s Eduardo Menezes and The Netherland’s Gerco Schroder both move up 12 places, Menezes from 84 to 72 and Schroder from 91 to 79.
They are ahead of Ireland’s Daniel Coyle who is this month’s biggest mover, going up a huge 56 places from last month’s 140 to this month’s 84.
Maing up the top 100 sees a quartet of riders enjoy double figures positional moves. Egypt’s Navel Nassar goes up 18 places from 107 to 89, Belgium’s Gudrun Patteet jumps 10 places from 101 to 91, USA’s Reed Kessler rises 12 spots from 104 to 92, and Italy’s Alberto Zorzi goes up 14 places from 109 to 95.
