Heavenly landscape and worldwide elite for the Longines CSI 5* of Lausanne

From the 14 to the 17 of September, the International Longines Horse Show of Lausanne will welcome a CSI 5*, un CSI 2* and a CSI 1*. No less than twenty riders of the top 30 are making their way in the middle of the Swizz mountains this weekend and the public will be able to applause them as the entry is free.
The bigwigs of the international showjumping will compete from Thursday on the wonderful arena of the Bellebille Square in Lausanne and will try to win the well known Longines Grand Prix. The competition will be tough as twenty of the thirty best riders in the world are in the starting blocks. The world number one, Kent Farrington will try his luck to get the cup against all his competitors such as the British Robert Whitaker and Catwalk VI, winners last year, or also the national riders, Steve Guerdat, Martin Fuchs, Romain Duguet, Paul Estermann or Janika Sprunger. They will definitely have their heart set to succeed on their home soil.
Before the experts, the young talents will embark upon the competition on Thursday afternoon and their biggest class, the Grand Prix, will take place on Saturday. The Longines CSI 5* Grand Prix will catch the attention of all the equestrian aficionados on Sunday at 14h15, local time.
Lausanne, the Olympic City will welcome three Olympic champions who will be showing their best. Indeed, Kevin Staut, Philippe Rozier and Roger-Yves Bost will enter the Swizz arena and the last one with his Rio champion, Rahotep de Toscane.
One of the most exciting thing this weekend will also to see the comeback of the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander, who had a maternity break, with her two top mares California and Lintea Tequila.
The public will be pleased to watch this show full of amazing sport and beauty in front of the Leman Lake.
