Botka bounces back in the ERC

Dávid Botka’s career as a ŠKODA Fabia R5 driver in the FIA European Rally Championship is underway after the Hungarian placed his new car P13 on Rally Rzeszow.

Former ERC2 driver Botka had endured a tough run of results in his old Citroën DS3 R5, which prompted a switch to the newer Czech machine for the fifth event of the season.

Partnered by new co-driver Márk Mesterházi Botka enjoyed a largely trouble-free run for his first ERC finish of 2017, albeit outside the points-paying positions.
