ERC Junior Ingram teams up with McRae Sr

Having beaten Opel team-mate and fellow rising star Jari Huttunen to the FIA ERC Junior Under 27 title in 2017, Chris Ingram will join forces with a rallying legend on Britain’s round of the world championship this week.
Ingram will link up with Jimmy McRae, the multiple British champion and father of the late Colin McRae, in a team of Network Q-backed ADAM R2s.
“Doing Rally GB with Jimmy McRae as my team-mate is going to be an honour,” said Ingram, who warmed up for the gravel event with a class win on Rally Liepāja, which took place in early October in wet and muddy conditions. “I don’t think anyone expected Rally Liepāja was going to be like this so it’s turned out to be a good test for Rally GB. I must keep the momentum up.”
Ingram won the coveted Colin McRae ERC Flat Out Trophy for a third time on Rally Liepāja.
