ERC Junior Kasperczyk is Polish runner-up

Although Filip Nivette took the crown for the first time, by winning the season-closing Rajd Slaska – his maiden victory in his homeland – Kasperczyk beat Zbigniew Gabrys to the runner-up spot in an exciting final-round decider.

In an impressive campaign, the Tiger Energy Drink Rally Team driver scored points in all rounds in his Ford Fiesta R5 and was a podium visitor on four of six events.

“I am very proud after we clinched this success,” said Tomek. “We worked hard for a few years to achieve this. To be honest, five years ago I did not know much about rallying and now I stand on the second spot in Polish Rally Championship. Here, in Silesia we took our maiden victory, so the feelings from the finish ceremony will not be forgotten.”
