Grzyb turns 250 in the ERC
Grzegorz Grzyb is starting rally number 250 in Italy this weekend when he contests Rally di Roma Capitale.
Grzyb tackled his first event in his native Poland in 1997, finishing P38 overall and graduated to the FIA European Rally Championship for 2017 as the reigning Polish champion.
“It’s very important for me I drive so many rallies,” said Grzyb. “Now I am in ERC it’s new for my rally story and I hope I will drive many more rallies in ERC and we can be much better like before.”
Asked to name a career highlight, the 41-year-old ranks his first victory on his home event, Rally Rzeszow, in 2008 as the best so far.
“There were many good memories in rallying but winning my home event for the first time was probably the best,” he said.
