Łukasz Habaj was a happy man after reaching the finish of his home round of the FIA European Rally Championship in Poland last weekend.
Habaj placed seventh overall on Rally Rzeszow in his all-new Rallytechnology-prepared Ford Fiesta R5 to end a run non-finishes.
“You have no idea how happy I am to be here,” Habaj told ERC Radio’s Julian Porter at the end of the final stage of Rally Rzeszow. “It’s my first rally for two years that I’ve finished without any problems. Maybe the pace yesterday was not great but it was an extremely difficult rally with high temperatures and tricky places. The car was in perfect shape and I have a much better feeling. I’m making progress and looking forward to the next round. Thanks to everyone who supported me.”
Habaj is scheduled to make his next ERC appearance on Barum Czech Rally Zlín from 25-27 August.
