Łukasz Habaj will be armed with a new co-driver when he continues his FIA European Rally Championship adventure in 2017.
Habaj has recruited fellow Pole Daniel Dymurski to navigate his Ford Fiesta R5 for his six-event ERC campaign, which starts on the Azores Airlines Rallye later this month.
Dymurski co-drove Wojciech Chuchała – the man Habaj succeeded as Polish rally champion in 2015 – to the ERC2 title last year but will switch camps for the season ahead.
“I am sure his experience will be very helpful, especially on rallies like Azores which I have never participated in,” said Habaj, who plans to spend 2017 making further improvements behind the wheel.
“I feel that ERC is where I can develop myself as a driver and the same applies to the team. The difficulty level is definitely higher than in a national championship.”
