Catie Munnings will continue her FIA European Rally Championship adventure in 2018 – and is now hard at work to secure the budget for an expanded campaign.
Nineteen-year-old Munnings took part on five ERC events in 2017, challenging for ERC Junior Under 27 and ERC Ladies’ Trophy points in her Saintéloc Junior Team Peugeot 208 R2.
“This year was just the beginning,” said the Briton, who was embarking on her first full season of rallying. “One hundred per cent we will be in ERC Junior U27 next year and we are hoping some more rallies too, we want to have a proper testing budget. We had some issues with budget right at the beginning of the year which we never caught up with. This time we are already working flat out and have lots of good things going on. It’s very exciting.”
