Kisiels keen on added ERC excitement

Next month’s Rally Liepāja might not be the limit of Raimonds Kisiels’ ERC ambitions in 2016.
As well as contesting his home round of the FIA European Rally Championship from 5-7 February, Kisiels could enter another ERC event this season in the ŠKODA Fabia R5 he will use for the upcoming campaign.
“I can confirm that we will race in five events [including] ERC round Rally Liepāja,” said Kisiels. “During the last few years I have driven three different S2000/R5 class cars and, at least for now, the experimentation period is over – I will use the ŠKODA Fabia R5. Naturally we will look into racing in other ERC events as well, possibly even another ERC round.”
Driving a MINI John Cooper Works S2000, Kisiels finished seventh overall on Rally Liepāja in 2013 (pictured), while an outing on Rally Latvia in a Fabia R5 last October netted second place.
