Kopecký not done with ERC winning

Kopecký, the 2013 ERC champion, is focused on his dual Czech and world championship campaigns with ŠKODA Motorsport but has no plans to stop contesting his home round of the European championship for the foreseeable future, insisting his motivation is as strong as ever.

“I don’t need any more motivation because it’s a really fun rally and I always enjoy this rally,” said the Czech driver. “For as long as I am healthy and successful I will continue doing this rally for as long as I can.”

Of his record-extending sixth outright win in Zlín, Kopecký added: “It was a very long weekend and I didn’t sleep as well or for as long as I wanted to. It was a really tough race but the organisers managed to prepare the perfect rally and the spectators all around the stages were perfect. I am very happy to win this rally.”
