Superb ERC Junior Under 28 line-up takes shape

The FIA ERC Junior Under 28 Championship is set for a thrilling maiden season with several leading lights announcing exciting plans for 2017.

Young talents Nikolay Gryazin (pictured) and Ralfs Sirmacis will drive ŠKODA Fabia R5s for Sports Racing Technologies, while Pepe Lopez and José Suarez were announced as the Peugeot Rally Academy’s representatives in 208T16s on Monday.

A number of other young hopefuls are due to announce their ERC Junior U28 plans in the coming weeks.

The inaugural champion will receive a one-off prize drive in a 2016-specificaiton World Rally Car on a European round of the world championship next year.
