Three x ERC3 for Ford squad in Cyprus

Castrol Ford Team Türkiye has trebled its ERC3 entry for this weekend's final round of the FIA European Rally Championship, the CNP ASFALISTIKI Cyprus Rally.

The team has been running Murat Bostanci on a full ERC3 programme this season, with the two-time Turkish champion contesting his seventh round of the year in Cyprus. He'll be joined in fighting for ERC3 honours for the first time by team-mates Bugra Banaz and Ümit Can Özdemir.

Banaz and Özdemir have already contested the SEAJETS Acropolis Rally and Rally Rzeszow this year but this will be their first time in ERC3, having recently registered for the 2016 ERC season.

Bostanci told earlier this year of his hopes of graduating to R5 machinery in the ERC next season, while adding that the team could run young Turkish drivers in the ERC Junior Championship.
