FIA ERC Junior Under 27 contender Dominik Brož has spoken about the full extent of his Rally Liepāja exit earlier this month.
Brož retired his Peugeot 208 R2 on the final stage of the 2017 season closer with a technical failure.

But not only did that rule out a finish for the Brož and co-driver Petr Těšínský, the loss of points meant the ACCR Czech Team’s bid to win the FIA European Rally Championship for Teams faltered at the final hurdle.

“We had problem with water pump belt and I must stop the car because the temperature was very high,” Brož explained. “The disappointed was big because we had a lot of technical problems this year. Because we retired we lost the Teams’ championship by two points on the last stage. But I was happy with my speed because I did not have so many kilometres on gravel before this rally.”
