21 hours into the race at the Bol d’Or, Tati Team Beaujolais Racing is battling for the Superstock win. The French Kawasaki-mounted team is currently in 5th place, dominating the Superstock class.
Having started from 24th position after a rocky time of it in tests and issues with the bike’s electronics, Tati Team Beaujolais Racing had made its way into the Top 10 a mere hour into the race. Yamaha Viltaïs Experiences was the leading Superstock at that stage, but the Yamaha #333 was forced to bow out after two crashes. Team Beaujolais Racing has run a flawless race since then, keeping a stranglehold on the Superstock class and powering up to a superb 5th place in the overall standings.
‘We fixed our electronics issues during the night tests,’ says Patrick Enjolras, the team manager of Tati Team Beaujolais Racing. ‘So far we’re running a perfect race. The riders are very consistent, and our tech crew is one of the fastest and most efficient of the Superstock line-up. It’s taking us just 40 to 43 sec to refuel, and 1 min 04 sec on average to refuel and change the wheels.’
At midday, 21 hours into the 81st Bol d’Or on the Paul Ricard circuit, Team 33 Accessoires Louit Moto (Kawasaki) was the second Superstock of the race standings, two laps behind Tati Team Beaujolais Racing. The third Superstock, Junior Team Le Mans Sud Suzuki, is climbing steadily within the Top 10.
