Oscar Wendt signs new two-year deal at Borussia Monchengladbach

Borussia Monchengladbach full-back Oscar Wendt has signed a new two-year contract.

The Sweden international has made 181 appearances for the Foals since arriving from FC Copenhagen in 2011.

And the 31-year-old has now penned a new deal which will keep him at Borussia-Park until June 2019.

"It was my wish and my goal to extend my contract here," Wendt told the club's official website.

"I always said that I feel super comfortable at Borussia. I love playing for this club, and I'm glad I can do it longer."
