We are looking forward to the season 'with Naby' - RB Leipzig CEO ends Keita speculation

Red Bull Leipzig CEO Oliver Mintzlaff has more or less put an to speculation linking Naby Keita to Liverpool, saying the club are looking forward to the new season with the midfielder.
Keita, 22, moved to Leipzig last summer from sister club RB Salzburg and he helped the newly promoted side to finish as runners-up in the Bundesliga.
His performances brought interest from a host of clubs with Liverpool reportedly having a number of bids rejected.
Further reports have suggested that Liverpool have ended their interest in the midfielder until next summer and Mintzlaff’s quote during pre-season would appear to suggest as much.
“We’re looking forward to the season ahead – together with Naby!” Mintzlaff said.
With Keita now expected to stay, for this season at least, it is currently unclear whether or not Liverpool will move to sign another central midfielder.
The Reds have so far signed Mohamed Salah, Andrew Robertson and Dominic Solanke this summer.
The arrival of Robertson allows James Milner to move back into midfield and that could alleviate the need for a midfielder this summer.
