Malmo are taking extra measures to make sure they contain Real Madrid's wingers and wingbacks during Wednesday's Champions League clash at the Swedbank Stadion.
The Swedish champions have narrowed the dimensions of the pitch by a metre on either flank, with the old lines still visible on the turf as Malmo trained ahead of the Group A game.
UEFA fined Malmo £73,000 due to the poor condition of the pitch at the club's three home group stage matches last season.
Rafa Benitez's can expect to receive a fiery atmosphere at the 21,000 capacity stadium with official supporters' club members publishing a book full of terrace chants to sing during the match.

It's not the first time a team has altered the pitch size in a bid to stem the threat of opposing players. In 1987, Graeme Souness requested that the Ibrox pitch width was changed to the absolute minimum due to European Cup opponents Dynamo Kiev boasting two dangerous wingers.
