Zidane withdrew Ronaldo for the final 20 minutes of the weekend clash against Las Palmas, but the Portuguese star is joined up front by Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale.
Casemiro's recent broken leg against Espanyol has put him out for the rest of the year, and James is named in an attacking-looking three-man midfield that also includes Luka Modric and Toni Kroos.
For Dortmund, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang recovers from a knock during Friday's win over Freiburg but Marc Batra misses out.

Teams:

Real Madrid: Navas; Carvajal, Varane, Ramos, Danilo; Kroos, Modric; Bale, Rodriguez, Ronaldo; Benzema.
Dortmund: Bürki; Schmelzer, Ginter, Sokratis, Piszczek; Weigl, Guerreiro; Castro, Götze, Dembele; Aubameyang.
