Kylian Mbappe stars as Monaco cruise past Borussia Dortmund

Monaco went into the second leg of their quarter-final against Borussia Dortmund with a healthy 3-2 lead and managed to double their aggregate score.
Kylian Mbappe was again at the heart of Monaco's success, but Dortmund again appeared to be suffering from a lack of concentration. That was no surprise, given the club have been rushed back to action following a bomb attack on their bus last week.
Mbappe opened the scoring after three minutes, and Radamel Falcao killed the game shortly after with his fifth goal in his last six European games.
In the second half, Marco Reus pulled one back after excellent work from first-half substitute Ousmane Dembele, who had been inexplicably benched by Thomas Tuchel
Dortmund intermittently threatened as Monaco sat back, but Valere Germain's goal 21 seconds after coming on sealed a simple victory for Monaco.

TALKING POINT - Are Dortmund still suffering from the events of last week?
It would hardly be unsurprising, or unreasonable. Last week must have taken place in something of a haze for Dortmund, as well as Monaco, but Dortmund will have found it impossible to escape the attention of the German press and their fans, and probably have not yet got the stress out of their system. Monaco could do little else but take advantage. However, Dortmund have found themselves in an impossible situation.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Kylian Mbappe (Monaco): His pace meant that even when Dortmund were in control, they had to be mindful that he would only need a few seconds to be in on goal. But it's not just his pace, it's his instincts and technique. With the game barely started, his reactions and finish to a dropping ball in the box gave Monaco a huge advantage for the rest of the tie.

48' - GOAL! Monaco 2-1 Dortmund. Reus scores - Dembele skins Mendy, three times, gets to the by-line and pulls it back for Reus, near the penalty spot, and he slams it home.
65' - FALCAO MISS - Falcao has time in the box, he's onside, and he flicks the ball over Burki as he rushes towards him. With the goal waiting, the ball drifts over the bar.
81' - GOAL! Monaco 3-1 Dortmund. Germain scores - Lemar seizes on a loose ball, advances down the left. He clips a pass inside, that might take a slight deflection, and it comes to Germain in space on the right to prod home. 21 seconds after coming on.
