Arsenal’s draw with Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday left Group A of the Champions League extremely tight at the top with only one game to go.
Here we look at all of the permutations for the Gunners final match and what they need to do to reach the last 16 ahead of the Unai Emery’s team.
We will also round up the other groups and the possible outcomes…

Group A – How they stand…

Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain are locked on 11 points and both are guaranteed to progress.
However, PSG's superior goal difference in the teams' head-to-head record means that they are in the driving seat for top spot.
Arsenal need a better result away in Basel than the French side manage at home against Ludogorets, otherwise it's yet another second-place finish for the Gunners.
In the scrap for the Europa League spot, Ludogorets have the edge on head-to-head record over Basel, with both teams on two points from five matches.

Group B – How they stand…

While many of the qualifying groups are essentially decided, Group B remains a three-way tussle. Besiktas go into the final matchday in third, but a win away at Dynamo Kiev would confirm the Turkish side's progression regardless of the result between Benfica and Napoli - who are both just a point ahead.
A draw for Besiktas would only be enough if Benfica beat Napoli, as the Italian side would be knocked down into third by head-to-head record.
If Besiktas fail to win then a draw would be sufficient to send both Benfica and Napoli through, with the Italians topping the pool thanks to their 4-2 win in the previous meeting in September.
Dynamo Kiev are completely out of the running, unable to finish anywhere other than bottom of the group.

Group C – How they stand…

Group C is done and dusted.
Barcelona are group winners and can't be caught, Manchester City are second and won't be overhauled by Borussia Monchengladbach thanks to their superior head-to-head record, and Celtic's solitary point against the Germany side mean that they will not be able to finish anywhere other than bottom of the group even if they make up the three-poing difference between the teams.

Group D – How they stand…

The potential blockbuster finish to Group D has been lost thanks to Bayern Munich's shock defeat against Rostov in matchday five. Atletico Madrid's five straight wins mean they are guaranteed to top the group, while Bayern will progress as runners-up regardless of their result against the La Liga outfit.
A spot in the Europa League awaits for Rostov if they can avoid defeat against winless PSV Eindhoven, who would pull level with the Russian side with a win in their meeting, gazzumping the underdogs on head-to-head record.

Group E – How they stand…

Progress to the next round has already been settled in Group E, where Monaco are four points clear of second-placed Bayer Leverkusen ahead of their meeting in Germany.
Bayer's superior head-to-head record over Tottenham means that they Premier League side can't move any higher than third, but defeat to CSKA Moscow at Wembley would relegate them to the foot of the table and see Mauricio Pochettino's side miss out on Europa League football after Christmas.

Group F – How they stand…

Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have long since had qualification sewn up, but top spot and a potentially preferable draw in the second round comes down to their meeting at the Bernabeu.
A draw would be enough to send the Germans through as group winners.
Europa League is at stake in the other Group F encounter, where Legia Warsaw need to beat Sporting to pip the Portuguese side into third place.

Group G – How they stand…

Leicester are through as group winners and can qualify in style with a win away in Porto. However, the Portuguese side will be wary of Copenhagen, who are just two points behind and face whipping boys Club Brugge in the other match.

Anything other than a win for Porto and the Danish club (who have the edge in head-to-head) could leapfrog them with victory in Bruges.

Group H – How they stand…

Juventus are through and will top the group with a win. Even a defeat could still see the Italians progress in top spot if Sevilla fail to beat Lyon away from home.
Sevilla need to avoid defeat in France, otherwise Lyon will take their place in the knockout stages.
Dinamo Zagreb are without a point and guaranteed to finish fourth.
