Inzaghi out injured

AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi faces a two to three-week lay-off after fracturing his hand during an Italian Cup quarter-final against Udinese.

The Italian international is likely to miss Serie A fixtures against Bologna, Messina and Lazio, but is expected to be fit in time for Milan's Champions League away match against Manchester United on February 23.

Inzaghi's appearance as a second-half substitute in Milan's 3-2 victory over Udinese on Wednesday was his first competitive outing since undergoing ankle surgery in October.

He had been on for only a few minutes when he fell heavily in a challenge with Udinese keeper Morgan De Sanctis.
