Ronaldo was a world record signing when he joined the La Liga giants for £80m in 2009, and he has reassured fans that he doesn't intend to leave the club within the next two years.
"This is the best league in the world, although I also played in the Premier League. It's fantastic, competitive, and with great players. It is a privilege to leave my mark on it," the Portugal captain told AS.
"I want to stay here two more years. And the future, we'll see. The two years I'm talking about take me to the end of my contract."
Ronaldo, who turned 31 last week, has been persistently linked with a return to Manchester United and to French champions Paris Saint-Germain.
