The Daily Mail has attracted ridicule after tweeting and swiftly deleting a bizarre image promoting Martin Samuel's latest column.

Respected sports journalist Samuel had written a 'hot or not' column, rounding up the week's news.
The column featured several items, including Samuel's strongly-worded opinions about Ched Evans, who is trying to resume his Sheffield United career after serving a prison sentence for rape.
It also included some positive words on Erik Lamela's 'Rabona' goal, Adel Taarabt's weight problems, and Bayern Munich's rout of Roma.
So what did the person in charge of the Mail's Twitter account decide would be an appropriate way to promote this latest article?

To be fair to the Mail, the tweet was quickly deleted.
