Derby forward Andreas Weimann links back up with Paul Lambert at Wolves

The Austria international links up with his former Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert at Molineux, where he will remain until the end of the Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Weimann, 25, has scored four goals in 45 appearances for the Rams since joining from Villa in 2015.

Wolves boss Lambert told the club's website: "I know him from my time at Villa and the way he works and the way he presses is what we are looking for.

"He just needs to get his career up and going again but I know exactly what he can do.

"Andi scored big goals for me when he was at Villa, against teams like Liverpool and Manchester United, and he certainly knows where the goal is."
