Wesley Sneijder scored two minutes into injury time to salvage a point for the Netherlands against Turkey in Amsterdam.
The Netherlands dominated the match in terms of territory and possession, but Turkey had their fair share of chances. In the early stages the home side went close with efforts from Memphis Depay and Sneijder, but Bruno Martins Indi soon had to clear an effort off the line.
Turkey took the lead towards the end of the first half when Burak Yilmaz seized on a cross that was not properly cleared to fire a shot off Martins Indi, and past Jasper Cillessen in goal.
In the second half, the Netherlands continued to dominate with the ball, but struggled to create chances consistently. Sneijder and Ibrahim Afellay both went very close with an effort each, but Sneijder's free kick was just wide of the post, and Afellay's volley was smartly saved.
Two minutes into added time Sneijder rescued Holland when his fierce shot deflected off Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and past the diving Volkan Babacan.

KEY EVENTS
6' - DEPAY CHANCE - Depay links up with Blind, skips into the box and lashes a shot at the far corner, and Babacan saves to push behind for a corner.
9' - SNEIJDER SHOT - More possession for the Netherlands, swapping passes on the left. Blind then tees up Sneijder on the corner of the box, and he drags a long range shot just a yard or two from goal.
14' - INDI CLEARANCE - Martins Indi clears a shot off the line. Erkin steams forward down the left, pulls the ball across for Yilmaz, and the striker hooks a shot at goal that beats the keeper only for Martins Indi to save the Dutch.
23' - BABACAN SAVE - Blind is tackled to stop any immediate danger. Depay then comes forward down the middle, but his shot from outside the box is aimed to the corner, and Babacan stops.
37' - GOAL! Netherlands 0-1 Turkey. Yilmaz scores - A cross from the right is headed out by De Vrij, the ball is worked to Yilmaz on the edge of the box. He takes two touches to create some room and his shot deflects off Martins Indi to beat Cillessen.
42' - DE VRIJ CHANCE - So close for Holland. The ball is whipped in, off a wall to De Vrij, and he toes an effort at goal that Babacan reaches well and palms away under pressure from Indi.
90+2' - GOAL! Netherlands 1-1 Turkey. Sneijder scores - Sneijder has the ball on the edge of the box. He shifts it right to make room for the strike, and his shot flicks off Huntelaar to beat Babacan.

KEY STATS
Netherlands have never lost a European Championship qualifier at home.
The Netherlands have won just two of their games in Group A.
Turkey have won only one of their Group A qualifying games.
TALKING POINT
Can Guus Hiddink keep his job? The Netherlands have struggled ever since the World Cup under their new manager. They recalled some of the football played by their previous manager, Louis van Gaal, at Manchester United. There were countless long balls, sterile domination, and poor defence at times. The Netherlands might have rescued a point, but there was little evidence that Hiddink knows how to turn around the side at the moment.
MAN OF THE MATCH
Volkan Babacan (Turkey): Turkey's fourth-choice goalkeeper was only beaten in the last two minutes, and even that shot was a wicked deflection off Huntelaar with little time for him to react. His consistent performance throughout the match kept the Netherlands at bay when the pressure increased as the home side chased an equaliser.
