England qualified for Euro 2016 with a perfect ten out of ten in the wins column, but how will Roy Hodgson's squad look come June?

GOALKEEPERS

Joe Hart
England's undisputed number one, the Manchester City goalkeeper will have to suffer a severe crisis in confidence to lose his place in the side ahead of the summer.
Jack Butland
The Stoke goalkeeper earned his second cap three years after his first in Lithuania on Monday night and he is benefiting from regular first-team football now Asmir Begovic has moved on.

Ben Foster
The West Brom goalkeeper was ruled out until October after undergoing surgery for an anterior cruciate ligament injury, but that's now been pushed back to December. If he can prove his form and fitness over the rest of the season he is a certainty to be England's third goalkeeper.

DEFENDERS

Gary Cahill
The Chelsea centre-back hasn't had the greatest of starts to the season with Chelsea but he should enter next summer's tournament as England's elite centre-back.
Phil Jagielka
Next summer's Euros should mark the last tournament for the 33-year-old Everton captain. Unlike in Brazil he will not be a guaranteed starter, but he brings experience and knowledge as a more than able back-up.

Chris Smalling
The Manchester United defender has made an impressive start to the season and has added real consistency to his game. Could be a starter come June.
Nathaniel Clyne
Despite not being trusted by Roy Hodgson while he was still at Southampton, the right-back now looks to be first choice after his summer move to Liverpool.
Ryan Bertrand
With Luke Shaw a major doubt the left-back position is up for grabs. After an impressive first season for Southampton and a return to full fitness in recent weeks, Bertrand is a front-runner.
Leighton Baines
The Everton left-back is continuing his recovery from an ankle operation and has not played a competitive game since May, but if he can prove his fitness by the end of the season he's a certainty to go.

John Stones
A season of regular first-team football at the centre of Everton's defence will see Stones push the tried-and-tested Cahill-Jagielka partnership for a starting spot.
Phil Jones
Jones' versatility is his greatest asset for England, with his ability to play across the centre and right hand side of defence making him vital cover in case of injuries and suspensions.

MIDFIELDERS

James Milner
Will be the second most capped international in the squad behind captain Wayne Rooney and a favoured starter under Hodgson in recent months.

Michael Carrick has played for England 33 times

Michael Carrick
At 34 Carrick will be the elder statesman of the England squad next summer. His know-how, winning mentality and calmness in possession make him the ideal man to drop into a tight knock-out game.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Oxlade-Chamberlain has been a regular under Hodgson since the last European Championships and a promising start to the season with Arsenal could see him play a major role in France next summer.
Ross Barkley
Another youngster to start the season in impressive form, and another who has seen his club displays lead to a starting berth for England. A livewire in midfield, it is hoped that Roberto Martinez can iron out some of his rough edges in time for the start of the tournament.
Jordan Henderson
A guaranteed starter when England are looking to press and harry the opposition and get on the front foot - how he progresses under new Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will prove an indicator of his role next summer.

Jack Wilshere celebrates scoring against Slovenia

Jack Wilshere
The Arsenal man has been trusted in a deep-lying role by Hodgson and his two spectacular long-range goals against Slovenia in June finally showcased his ability on the international scene. His dubious injury record could count against him, however.
Raheem Sterling
The Manchester City man is still searching for a defined role in the national side, but if he can be unleashed on the tournament like he was in Manaus against Italy in 2014 then he can have a huge impact.

FORWARDS

Wayne Rooney
As captain and his nation's leading all-time scorer, his squad position is safe. Less secure, though, should be his place in the starting eleven after a serious loss of goalscoring form in 2015.

Daniel Sturridge
England's forgotten man - waiting for a first international call-up since breaking down in training after the 1-0 win over Norway in September 2014. The Liverpool man needs a run of games between now and the end of the season to make sure of his place after playing no part in qualification.
Harry Kane
The Tottenham striker has had a slow start to the season but he continues to impress for his country. Barring a miraculous loss of form he will be a key part of Hodgson's plans between now and next summer.
Theo Walcott
The Arsenal man is starting to justify his desire for a starting role with club and country. Walcott will hope that Euro 2016 is the tournament where he finally leaves his mark on the international stage after the disappointment of the past.

Danny Welbeck
Yet to play this season after undergoing knee surgery in September, but the Arsenal forward is targeting a return in the new year. No matter his club form he remains a firm favourite of Hodgson's.
