Kuhn sets quit date

Kuhn, 62, told Swiss newspaper SonntagsZeitung that he will end his reign in charge – which has lasted since 2001 – after the nation co-host the Euros in 20 months time.

"I have promised my wife that I'll call it a day after Euro 2008," said Kuhn.

Kuhn will become the first coach to lead Switzerland to three consecutive major finals in 2008, after he also took them to the group stage of Euro 2004 and the second round of this summer's World Cup.
