A young Netherlands side gave Poland much food for thought on the eve of Euro 2016 by condemning them to a 2-1 defeat.
The Poles came into the fixture having lost only once in their last 18 internationals, but goals from Vincent Janssen and Giorginio Wijnaldum in each half extended Poland's run without a victory over the Netherlands - one that stretches back to May 1979.
Robert Lewandowski, touted as one of the stars to watch in France, failed to muster a single shot on target but defender Artur Jedrzejczyk gave his side hope after heading Poland level from the corner.
But a neat turn and finish in the box from Wijnaldum with little over 10 minutes remaining means that the Netherlands are now unbeaten in three matches for the first time since March 2015.

Vincent Janssen (Netherlands): Bagged his second goal for his country after a lively display. Could have had another but shot inches wide early on and was denied by a sharp Szczesny save.
