Barcelona hit by Andres Iniesta injury blow

“Andres Iniesta has injured the lateral collateral ligament in his right knee. When he arrives in Barcelona the player will have more tests to find out the exact extent of the injury,” read a statement on the Barcelona website.

Iniesta had to leave the field after 14 minutes of play after going down under the challenge of Enzo Perez.

The Barca skipper joins a growing injury list that also includes Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba, who were injured during the Calatan's 4-0 triumph over Manchester City during the week.
