Mendes has clients including Ronaldo's Real Madrid team-mate James Rodriguez, Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea, Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao and Paris Saint-Germain winger Angel Di Maria.
He is viewed as one of the most influential figures in world football, and was part of deals that saw Di Maria join Paris Saint-Germain from Manchester United for £46m, David de Gea agree a new contract at Manchester United and Andre Gomes join Valencia.

He has been part of deals involving over £1billion including Sergio Aguero, Thiago Silva, Diego Costa, Radamel Falcao and Anthony Martial.
Mendes is apparently called when clubs are trying to sign a player even if the player is not his client.
Despite being on top of the football (known to Forbes as soccer) world, Major League Baseball has the world's number one sports agent in Scott Boras.
Boras is from California and was an attorney before he became an agent 32 years ago. He has picked up £76m in commissions, and has been involved in £1.5billion of contracts in the MLB.
He was involved in thrashing out a new contract for Washington Nationals pitcher Max Scherzer, who agreed a new seven-year contract worth £137.6m in January.
Gareth Bale's agent Jonathan Barnett and Volker Struth, who represents Germany players Mario Gotze, Toni Kroos and Marco Reus, are the only other football agents in the top 10 with the rest emanating from the American sports of American football, baseball and ice hockey.
